Davey Allison’s cause of Death 

Davey Allison boarded his new Hughes 369Hs helicopter on July 12, 1993, to fly to Talladega Superspeedway to see his family friend Neil Bonnett and David Bonnett’s test car held in David’s Busch Series. Another family friend named Red Farmer is the racer. When Davey attempted to land the helicopter in the fenced area of the track field, the craft was nosed up, and suddenly, it crashed. Allison had a critical head injury and did not regain consciousness; the next morning, at 7.00 am, a neurosurgeon pronounced him dead in the Carraway Methodist Medical Center.
