The next day on December 28, 2016, Debbie was admitted to the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles because of a severe stroke; the same day, she passed away at the age of 84 years. The cause of her death is intra-cerebral hemorrhage because of hypertension. Later she was buried with her daughter in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles.
