He works with the National Basketball Association and has played college football for Marquette University. He played for the university for three seasons, and then he was drafted with the Hawks from Atlanta. He played the point guard position for the team till 1991 but later decided to shift to Los Angeles Clippers. He has also played basketball for the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks. Rivers is an All-Star for the NBA that he won in 1998.
