The Game measurements, Bio, Age, Height and Weight

The Game, a Compton-based rapper, burst onto the West Coast scene in the early 2000s with his intense autobiographical storytelling, a desire to showcase his lyrical prowess, and a creative approach to hip-hop that justified his stage name. His debut album, The Documentary, released in 2005, topped the Billboard 200, solidifying his talent. He continued to release successful albums, including Doctor’s Advocate (2006), The R.E.D. Album (2011), 1992 (2016), and DRILLMATIC Heart vs. Mind (2022). Born Jayceon Terrell Taylor in 1979, Game had a rough childhood and was involved in the drug trade until a home invasion left him shot and inspired him to pursue a career in music. Influenced by N.W.A, The Chronic, Doggystyle, and classic albums from 2Pac, the Notorious B.I.G., and Jay-Z, Game began rapping in 2001 and caught the attention of Dr. Dre, who signed him to Aftermath Records in 2003. Despite a feud with 50 Cent over Game’s reluctance to engage in beef with G-Unit’s enemies, Game continued to release successful albums, including Doctor’s Advocate and LAX. After a period of retirement talk, he returned to music with The R.E.D. Album in 2011.

Career

During his hospital recovery from gunshot wounds in late 2001, Game instructed his brother to purchase all the classic hip-hop albums. Over the next five months, he studied these influential rap albums and developed a plan to become a rapper. With the help of his older brother Big Fase, they founded a label that featured artists such as Glasses Malone, Vita, and Nu Jerzey Devil, as well as Game himself. His stage name was given to him by his grandmother, who was a fan of the 1997 blockbuster, The Game. Game’s career took off after attending a hip-hop summit hosted by Russell Simmons and Louis Farrakhan. After releasing his first mixtape, You Know What It Is Vol. 1 in 2002, he landed a record deal with Get Low Recordz owned by JT the Bigga Figga. Game’s mixtape eventually reached Sean Combs, founder of Bad Boy Records, who was considering signing him to his label. However, he was discovered by Dr. Dre five months later, who listened to the mixtape produced by his brother and signed him to Aftermath Entertainment label in 2003. Later that year, Interscope Records CEO Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre decided to have Game collaborate with 50 Cent and G-Unit to increase buzz around Game and fuel interest in G-Unit. Game made cameo appearances in music videos for 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, and Fabolous. Game spent the next few years working on his major label debut album and being mentored by Dr. Dre.
