The accident occurred around midnight. The news says that three people died in a terrible car accident. The three people in question are Madison Klepesky, John Paul, and Herbert Parker. According to what the people looking into the accident said, the children were pronounced dead at the scene. Willie P. Aiken III, the Jasper County Coroner, stated the accident in which he said that John Paul Gonzalez, who was 19 years old, and Madison Kleipski, who was 18 years old and from Pennsylvania, died at the scene of the accident. He said that the plane crashed around 10:30 p.m. and that Madison Kleipski and John Paul Gonzalez were aboard. In addition, Aiken said that Hardyville Herbert Parker, who was 35 years old, had gone away on Sunday at the Memorial Hospital in Savannah, located in the middle of the day.

The collision took place as a result of two factors: first, a 2017 Nissan Altima was travelling north on the old Charleston Highway when it collided with a 2017 Hyundai sedan that was attempting to pass the highway via the Bakers Ferry Road while at the same time wanting to continue driving on the Bakers Ferry. After that, a collision between a Nissan and a Hyundai caused both vehicles to leave the roadway and collide head-on with some nearby trees. John Paul Gonzalez was the driver of the other vehicle. Herbert Park was the passenger.
